This was hands down the best episode of She-Hulk thus far. This episode is just full of fun, magic, and laughs. This episode was able to include a personal plot for Jennifer, a fantastical plot for action, and a lawyer plot as well. If the show can keep up this level of comedy writing for the remaining five episodes, I will be so happy.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Madisynn is so funny! She is a treat to the MCU and I need to see her appear again. This episode very cleverly weaves all of the plotlines together and beautifully builds from last week’s episode with Blonsky’s parole hearing. I really hope that Madisynn sticks around in future as a friend and maybe girlfriend of Wong. I know someone people are not enjoying the super comedic tone this show has, but I love it! I love seeing a humorous and human side of Wong and the mystic side of the MCU with the Donny Blaize storyline.
Jenn dating and then switching to dating as She-Hulk is so relatable. I know that I have dealt with really bad dates, and also really good ones that don’t go anywhere. The layer of her deciding to date as either Jenn or She-Hulk says a lot about how even when looking for an emotional match, first dates are still so superficial.
The comedy throughout the episode is top-notch and the actors’ timing was one point. I hope that this momentum continues.
