This week was another idea week. Lots of ideas came to me as I read and watched a lot. Interacting with family this week also sprouted some good writing ideas. This week was also marked by the fear setting in. I began to start worrying about keeping up with the blog and podcast again once I return to teaching in the fall. I still have a month left of my summer break but the anxiety still sets in. I just have to think about how I can use the time I have in the best way possible. Once it is closer, I will make a plan for how to keep up with it all. I will have a little bit of grace, but not too much grace.
This week I have been thinking more about a screenplay idea I had a while back based on some tough stuff from when I was a kid; I half-jokingly tell my fiancé that I am afraid to write the script. I am starting to visualize the script more as I think about it.
I also thought about making a new writing playlist to help have a writing week this week, rather than an ideal one. Lately, I am finding that I have been listening to a lot of 70’s classic rock and 80’s-90’s women pop. Also, I cannot get Kate Bush’s “Running Up that Hill” out of my head! (IDEA: Starting with this update, I will include a little playlist of the songs I have enjoyed writing to in the past week)
I hope you enjoy the music below and have a great week!
