MCU Review: She-Hulk: Attorney at Law – Episode 7

This week’s episode is a solid one. After last week’s wedding retour, I was mentally prepared to just go into today’s episode and get whatever. So, obviously Daredevil was not in this week’s episode, I am going to assume that he will be in episode 8 and 9. This week was a fun continuation of stories laid earlier in the season, that continues to ask audiences to think about who “HulkKing” could be and why does he want Jennifer’s blood. I am hoping that the final two episodes kick ass.

SPOILERS AHEAD

This week we find another bottle episode, with Jen brought to and stuck at Blonsky’s retreat. We start the episode with the ever so relatable moment in Jen’s life where she is crushing on Josh but finds herself ghosted. Since this show is really focused on Jen as a character, having her trapped at the retreat while she can’t stop thinking about Josh is the perfect way to include comic book easter eggs and also force Jen to grow a little as a character.

Jen is now set to go into the final two episodes more at peace with herself as She-Hulk, which should allow her to have some great interactions with Matt Murdock/Daredevil and finally introduce our true villain. This episode seemed to bring together different storylines (Josh, Abomination, and HulkKing), so I am hoping that the next two episodes continue to do that.

Other than that, I think the two main things that I want to mention are that I love our new characters, especially Porcupine and I want to see them all return in the future, AND that I was surprised to not see any of Emil’s soul mates.
