MCU Review: She-Hulk: Attorney at Law – Episode 5

I know this review is a couple days behind when I usually post them, but wow, we went from my favorite episode so far to my least favorite. This episode was not horrible, and there were some parts I even really enjoyed, but this week I was just a little let down. Without getting into spoilers, I just want to see so much more out of the rivalry between Titania and She-Hulk that the show is not giving right now.

SPOILERS AHEAD

This episode is saved by Nikki and Pug! Their chemistry as coworkers and friends on their quest to find Jennifer a new suit. Both of these actors just use charisma and make me want to keep watching. I immediately wanted an Avongers or Avingers shirt, and I really hope that someone does cosplays of these characters.

Jenn’s story about the copyright lawsuit was… okay. I just feel like the comedy AND the drama were both holding back in this storyline. Neither were able to go far enough without keeping me engaged.

The way this episode teases Daredevil is a little sloppy, just because I have a hard time believing that Matt Murdock would ask a fashion designer to make his new suit.

I really hope that episode 6 steps back up to the quality of episode 1, 2, or 4.

3/5 Drops of Gamma Blood 🩸
